My visiting Ozzys made a sauce of soya and sweet chilli to go with thinly sliced raw salmon, rice and avocado. Eaten with chop-stix, dip the fish into the sauce and mix with rice to eat. Same with the avocado. Very tasty......never eaten such 'food' before!

They say its "super fit and longevity" food.

It's a very light dish and I would recommend it to slimmers.

It sounds like a variation on 'sashimi'......very thinly sliced raw fish..ie-tuna,cod,salmon,bass,etc...a dipping sauce of soy, wasabi, and pickled ginger....served with rice. Great stuff...enjoy!
Not sure I like the term 'jap foodies' tho
Sounds JAPanese to me - but then whatever, it could be quite nice!
