Can anyone recommend a receipe book with food for one that doesn't assume that I am a student, on a low budget or want to make it in 3 minutes?

I'm looking for something along the lines of the kind of receipes that James Martin et al would produce but for a single serving?

I like Delia Smith's One is Fun.

It came out ages ago, but it still does it for me in the kitchen.
Hi Vasquoy, why not adjust your favourite recipes accordingly? If the recipe is for four, divide the ingredients by four. Alternatively, make as per recipe and freeze any leftovers.
Put this post on Chatterbank....There's a plethora of single people on there:-)

The reason I would like a book on single portions is that often there are meals that require a certain cut of meat or has to be cooked in a certain way that I am pretty sure means it won't come out the same - I also abhor re-heating food!

Blimey Vasquoy, you are good :)

I'm not single, but I cant cook to save my life!
If my other half isn't in to cook for me, I either have a 3 minute microwave pizza, or I dont eat! Let alont cooking meals for 1!
I`m pretty sure I spotted what you`re after in one of those discount bookshops you find in town. I think they were/are called County Bookshops(?). Otherwise, try Amazon.
