what were those choclate drop things in a white bag & i think the bag had animals on the front (a giraffe possibly). they were similarish to choclate buttons but smaller and shiney i think.

weren't they called Counters? The Giraffe thing is right. made by Galaxy I think?

They might well have been Jill. If I saw the bag I'd remember. I'm sure they were finished by the start of the eighties. they were lovely though. everyone i mention them to just looks at me as though i've gone mad
Definitely Counters - you can still get them in Revels, but you have to put up with the yucky coffee and peanut ones too!
Gold Nuggets, came in small white cloth bag with a yellow draw string.

Counters rocked - they were my favourites when I was about six or seven.

I used to like Secret bars, died out a bit more recently than these things.. but I think I know the ones from Revels... wondered what they were... What is with putting coffee in sweets? That's not right.
Defo Galaxy counters,as well as a the Giraffe I'm sure the packets also had somethng else on them as well(maybe an Owl)The one's you get in Revels are larget and not as flat, however, taste V similar and also melt in your mouth. Anyone remember 'Banjo's' in a blue packet with yellow writing similar to a Drifter?..Where have all the nice sweets gone??

Yeh BaggieJim I remember, they were called galaxy counters and smithy I remember mint cracknel ooooh I can taste them both now lol.
