I have a Brita Classic jug. I wish to purchase new cartridges.

If a box of cartridges is marked 'Pitcher' and the box-picture of the cartridges look just like the Classic cartridges, will they fit my Classic jug. A seller on ebay says they will, I just want to be sure.
