I am looking to connect my laptop to my LCD TV purely for the purpose of listening to my iTunes through the TV (I'm not bothered about vision, only sound). My TV is HDMI but my laptop isn't.

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to connect the two and if so, what cable(s) I need to do this, please?

Thanks

Assuming your TV has got standard audio inputs, you will normally need a small headphone jack to 2x phono jacks lead (around a pound from your local "cheapo" store).

If your TV doesn't have audio inputs, check your DVD/HDD/VCR for external audio inputs.

Thank you, LeMarchand,

I got what you said and I happily have music playing through my TV system. :0)
