my best friend is a wonderful cook and loves her gadgets. Stuck for ideas for a birthday present i asked her what she wanted.
I now need to find a herb chopper but she wants one with a curved wooden board and a single blade rocking chopper. The board ideally will be one solid peice of wood as her last one has split where it was sections of wood.
Anyone got any recommendations?

thanks for the answers. Mccfluff and hammerman, as it is for a birthday present I would like to buy something a little bit special. I know i could get an 'itll do the job' knife and a plain board pretty much anywhere but what to get something that is going to last and look good amongst her lovely kitchen untensils etc.
I bought one similar to this from lakeland, mine was round though, but it is very good quality and looks nice too http://www.lakeland.co.uk/product.aspx/!11326
Try Ikea, that's where Igot mine, it's called a mezzaluna
I use the one that Jules has given you and it's one of the best. You can't go wrong with a Lakeland product.

As it's for a birthday you want something a bit special, but wood also has to be practical, so you won't get anything in the super posh line.

However I found one here that might just fit the bill. The hachoir is bright stainless steel and the board is a rather smart bamboo wood - and it's on special offer. See what you think:
