A breville- i loved it the first few weeks i bought it. Then i got sick of cheese toasties and it's been gathering dust in my cupboard ever since.
The Wife
ice cream maker....the one you have to freeze the bowl.....such a pain

half used and gave up.....
-- answer removed --
Juicer, 40ish - 500 carrots for half a cup of juice and 3 hours of cleaning.
or even my oxo garlic mincer, 10 and it leaves half the clove un-minced!
Have to agree with the ice cream maker, used once, now banished to the back of the cupboard!
Potato ricer, used it once and gave up on it as it is easier to wash a potato masher
Toaster for me, don't eat toast at all now :)
Definitely the juicer....OH wanted it, OH got it, OH used it (a couple of times) and I got to clean it....UGH.
i got a strainer that fitted in tins like sweetcorn and tuna to drain the liquid - dont know why i thought this was going to be better than the tin's lid - just more washing up!! thats the problem with lakeland - their shop's full of stuff i really need until i get them home!!
Juicer and garlic mincer.
I like our ice cream maker!
Have to agree with juicer, spent ages researching the best one ha! Love my icecream maker too- so many sweet and savoury things you can make.
I totally disagree about the juicers. Call me scummy but I put the jug in the fridge and as I use it everday so the constant top ups cleans itself. (The pulp has a seperate tray)

Obviously if I add things like mint or ginger to a juice I clean it. But as I make a myriad of juices I really do not mind if a little lime or kiwi goes in to my banana or raspberry.

My own useless and never used paraphanalia are

1) Tea Cups and Saucers
2) Pizza slicer
3) Milk Pan
4) The egg section in the fridge (keep them at room temperture)
Popcorn maker
a sausage maker from the ideal home show -what a good idea , make your own flavours you know exactly what is in them etc etc , i had it sitting in a drawer in my kitchen for years, brand new never used until i sold it on ebay -good old ebay the useless kitchen gadget shop !!!
What may be useless to you might be useful and valuable to another. lol

I often use my ice ice cream maker and love it. (the frozen bowl kind)
I use my garlic press almost every day and like it.
I like my juicer but I dislike the clean-up. I might start doing like Wardy and leaving it in the fridge.
I eat pop corn a lot so I cannot do without a pop corn maker.

What I rarely use is the different types of knives. I use one basic knife for just about everything.
I was given a strawberry huller. Its plastic, also from Lakeland I think . You are supposed to insert into the top of the strawb, squeeze and then pull out the hull. It takes slightly longer than using a knife and with slightly worse results....
