Same as pancakes but thinner batter, therefore thinner crepes/pancakes.

and strictly speaking for savoury crepes you should use buckwheat flour.

I noted on the video (thanks for the link!) that they put salt in the crepes. When I make pancakes I don't put in salt.

Is that a difference too?

No, I usually put a pinch of salt into pancake batter
