nope... there is a bacardi 151 that has a high abv. Of something is 100% prrof then it is 50% abv. There are some grain alcohols that fall in the 70 to 90 % abv and you can get vodka around the 70% mark too. Absynth is traditionally big on the alcohol content but has been softened up a bit for the market and you can get it from your supermarket at about 40% bolume but there are some stronger than this.
Stroh rum i know is very very strong! It comes in 2 strengths & ouch, only made the mistake of ever doing one shot, never ever again!!
I bought a bottle of 143 proof rum in Barbados once. (Around 80% ABV). Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The alcohol overpowered any other flavour, and it tasted like methylated spirits.
True Absinthe is meant to be something like 70% proof. Doubt you'd get it that strong in this country though.
Meths is 95% ethanol but I wouldn't recommend drinking it.

Some Polish vodkas are about 80%.

Absinthe is about 85% but a friend has just told me Polish Rectified 96% Alcohol.
