Were there ever coconut centred Revels (white in the middle)? If so when did they get disconinued?

Not that I know of. However, you can get these sweets from M & S called Coconut Bites (I think) which are exactly what you've described - dessicated coconut covered in Belgian milk chocolate - cost 99p a bag.

There certainly did use to be coconut Revels - they used to be my favourites. I didn't even know that they had been discontinued : (

...apparently discontinued in favour of the malteser but can not remember when this was introduced.

The revel flavours as I remember them from my youth were: coconut, toffee, nut, orange, coffee and pure chocolate (flat shape).
