Does anyone know where I can buy one at a reasonable price or are they not worth the hassle as I was just going to use a roasting tray on the top of the stove as it is also quite big...I only need it for a one off meal...but have to feed 12

Hi tobeloy,
I bought one a few weeks ago from " Home & Bargains".I think it was 2. 99. Sounds just what you need. I have'nt even used mine yet. Hope you have a store local, you get some great bargains in there.

cheers val,

I have been to home an bargain before so i will have a look as i have to go up north again soon is a shame we dont have any stores in the south as I can spend all day buying in that shop....
I would say dont bother getting one. You will need to use all 4 rings to cook the paella through. Too much hassle. Also treat it like a wok.
If you have a decent steel roasting tray that will withstand direct heat, it should do the same job
there is a company called paella pans or something like that they sell all different sizes at reasonable prices. You can order online put paella pan into google thats how I found it. I got one that is a catering size and doesn't fit on my cooker !!!!!!!

Thanks people for your advice....
i think buying a pan especially for cooking paella is an absolute waste of money. any good quality skillet will do just as good a job.
