It's a bit sickly after a bit - one of those things I sometimes wake up in the night craving, eat a huge spoonful of out the jar and then think...ew...
it has heaps of sugar in it, but i used to live in about 6 slices of toast with blackberry jam on it every day when i was about 14 and that went on for about 3 months straight. now i'm 17 and i'm fine i think
No! It is made mainly with refined white sugar, which has little or no nutritional value. The fruit content is minimal, since it will have been cooked to within an inch of its life, boiling out all the natural goodness and fibre. You need (and I am sure you know this!) a balance of all food types to stay healthy. Carbs are good cos they fill you up and give you energy. Fruit and veg are great cos they are the food of the gods- natural. use organic if you can, and don't over cook. Protein is also important- fish, nuts, meat, quorn.. Nobody NEEDS sugar to survive. It just gives us a taste for sweet, processed things, which does us no good.
yeah-carbs are good but NOT all carbs. Some just fill you for a while. Stick to low glycaemic index carbs. Wholemeal bread instead of white bread for example.
now and then a little jam won't hurt.

i love peanut butter and jam or marmalade sandwich
if you spreaded on a carrott that would be more healther
LOL mollymandy you are so funny :o)
