I am having a riverside picnic on Tuesday (you are all invited) and I need to take some food which is easily orderable from Tescos. ie- I don;t want to be making anything exotic. It is just for a few mates, so will be shop bought rather than cooked. What could I get from Tescos that would be nice??! THANKS

Hi Scarlett, count me in!! I find the problem with some of the shop bought stuff i.e. quiches/sausage rolls etc. is that it is not very nice! Have you thought about getting some crusty rolls and buying some sliced meats/cheeses etc these can be laid out buffet style that people can make up their own plates with. You could buy ready mixed salad and accompliments to go with it. Oh yes, I think Tesco have just started to do tappas style food in the cold counter so that could be another idea as well. Of course there are plenty of ready made cold deserts to finish off.
Cheers Sue
