Couldn't find much, apart from this.....

" Frankie and Bennys taken over by Frank Giuliani in 1953 from his mother and father. They left Sicily in 1923 and moved to New York where they bought a restaurant and it became known for his mothers home cooked food So the dishes are Italian and American."

F & B have their own website with glitzy info. Part of The Restaurant Group - owns Chiquitos, Est Est Est, Garfunkels and Caffe Uno brands as well as a few other concessions. Growing franchises as well as developing other out of town locations. Not sure if there ever was a Frankie - website makes you believe so . . . .
