Me and my best mate go to a cafe in Leeds for our lunch where we can buy Provencettes.

The bread is gorgeous but I can't find anywhere that seels it apart from this cafe.

Anyone know where I can buy Provencette bread from so I can make my own sarnies at home?

Provencette is a french bread with olive oil and herbs in the mix. You can make it at home using french flour for the proper texture of course (recipe here for an olive bread - just add herbs: http://www.astray.com/recipes/?show=Olive%20bread ) or maybe try Org at Great George Street in Leeds - organic and speciality shop. They have specialist breads and may get an artisan baker to supply if you ask. Some supermarkets are carrying it - I think Waitrose now have it.

I think the bread is normally supplied in part baked from by foodservice companies like Brakes, Delifrance etc, so its not a 'fresh' product or 'made on the premises' type bread in the strict definition and is an extension of the pannini range for sandwich makers, etc.
