My daughter was doing some gardening and dug up a I oz oxo jar. I have never seen one before. Does anyone know when these jars were around and were they similar to bovril?

Found this link. Is this the sort of jar you mean. If so, it would seem to come from the 1930's. I have never seen one before.

Thanks gessoo. Yes it is the same sort of jar except the one in your link is 16 oz and the one she found was 1 oz so much smaller. Well at least we know it isn't worth anything.
