Did You have a good day.
Can't say I did anything exciting.
Just kept myself busy making Birthday Cards.
Are you having trouble sleeping or is it normal to be awake at this time

Yes.
Neither did I.
I didn't do that.
Yes and yes.
No - heard one friend has got about 6 weeks to live, and then another friend died at the weekend - both in their early fifties. Waiting to hear who the third is.
Thats very sad Lankeela. You don't expect to lose friends at that age.
Good evening and thank you for starting this.

Working today (now yesterday :-/) but day off tomorrow and restaurant booking for lunch so looking forward to it.

That's sad Lankeela. Do you believe these things always come in 3's

I don't do early Toorak, am usually around at this time.
Can't guarantee to be here everynight but it would be nice to see some pleasant chat at this time of the night.
I had a good day thanks LadyBug. The sun shone, I got three loads of washing dry, I had a tidy up and I sorted out my seed potatoes ready for chitting.

It’s about this time that I start to think about going to bed, but if I can’t sleep I might pop back again later and see who’s about.

Just curious JimF does it annoy you not being able to sleep or are you coping with the situation
Evening, MrsLB and all. Normal for me to be still awake but for some reason I’ve been sleeping later than usual in the morning.
Nothing exciting. Been trying to finish some UFOs in my knitting and crochet box.
Sad news, Lankeela.
It's been this way for so long that I don't really recall a time when it wasn't. I've tried everything, apart from sleeping pills.
Not normally awake at this time but have had to shut window due to wind howling outside(comes up from the sea)and the droning noise from the earth-moving machines (about half a mile away)..a new Lidl is being constructed and this is the night-shift-ugh!
Didn't think I'd be around for the baptism of the new thread but, hey, I made it. Sweet dreams when you nod off.
Sorry Mrs Lady Bug. Didn't see you. Nice you started the thread. I dozed off.
I wondered where you were Lottie.

I had to stop the knitting and crochet Gness . Having problem with the joints in hand.
Its annoying as I love the crocheting. I have been on a mission to make blankets for each of the grandchildren and /or the great grandkids I have had to stop half way through one and there are 6 more to be done, so far.
I have 14 grandchildren and 6, no 7 now great grandkids
Back soon

Hi Misst. Had been reading about the idea so thought I would start it off tonight. Feel free to start yourself any night.
I don't claim to be in charge.
That's an awful lot of children MrsLadyBug, half a classroom.
Question Author
Maydup , that brings back memories.
My late husband always grew his own pots.
He grew other stuff too. But the thing that always annoyed me was the amount of cabbage he set and the way it all comes ready to eat at the same time. He would be quite happy with his bacon and cabbage every day if he got it but I am afraid I draw the line at once a week.
Yes he was Irish
I'm off to do Wordle then I'm off to bed. Goodnight all. x
Any of us should feel free to start the thread Mrs Lady Bug. I should have looked before posting.

I was binge watching Netflix and dozed off.
