In the 60's&70's this liquer was available in the shops in UK.It tasted like liquid After 8 Mints, very yummy.I have been on line and a couple of sites import it to order but I wonder if anyone has seen it in off licenses or shops.I would prefer to purchase it that way.The manufacture was Peter Hallgarten. My Daughter would love a bottle for her Birthday in March. She remembers having a sip from her Grandfathers glass.

Its not the original, which i remember well, but Baily's have a version out this year.

Where are you in the UK? Wine merchants here at Bootle; http://scatchardswinemerchants.com or Littlehampton wholesalers http://www.newworldwines-southsea.co.uk/ or http://www.gwines.co.uk at Bude in Cornwall.

Or fill in the enquiry form here: http://www.cowen.co.uk/contactus.shtml (they distribute the liqueur) and they'll advise where to buy (covers UK). Happy New Year..........

Thank you both for your help.I will see if I can find a taster of the Bailey's version to see how it compares with the original.I have looked on the suggested web sites and might use one of those in the end.Scatchards have it in stock I would have to send for it as I am in Hampshire.Happy New Year to you both.
