Are there folks that you were at school with that you have never met again since you left ?

I often wonder about some fellow pupils

After leaving school, I kept in touch with a couple of mates for a few years. I've not seen either of them for over 40 years though. Apart from those two people though, I've never seen anyone I knew at school from the day I left.

However I do still keep in touch with a few ex-pupils from my own teaching days. For example, later today I'll be writing a letter (to be enclosed inside a Christmas card) to one of my former A-level students, who's now in her mid-50s.
Hi Baz, I’m still friends with a lot of them ,mainly through an FB site for the area where we all grew up, sadly some are no longer with us ( at 75)
Still in contact with probably 80% of my school friends/year, some are just swapping messages a couple of times a year, some are meeting up several times a year.
As we are all in our forties hopefully this will go on for several years yet
Not a single one. It's nearly 60 years since I left school and we all went in our separate directions; travel wasn't as easy back then and we just lost contact. I corresponded with a few via Friendsreunited, when it existed, but I've now lost contact with them.
Yes, I have only met one person I was at school with since leaving and my school had nearly 1000 pupils. I would be very hard put to remember any of their names, let alone faces

I can remember lots of names and faces

Then there are a few , try as hard as I can ,I cannot recall their names or faces .

Then there is that particular one .
She was always immaculately dressed and make up always on
It’s the spotty youths with silver sleeves I can see clearly at our Christmas party haha Baz, we girls were dressed immaculately with beautiful dresses and then there’s the spotty youth with greasy hair you had to dance with :0(
Loads.
I think you will see a big difference between the sexes. I have never seen any of many fellow pupils* since the day I walked out of school but my sister is still in touch with several of her schoolfriends & sees them regularly.

*Seen 1 or 2 in the news (for the right reasons!).
Just as Naomi - loads. But I dont live anywhere near where I went to school.
I don't intentionally keep in touch with any of my classmates (don't do FB), but as i have said before, Burnley is only a small town and i regularly bump into the odd one now and again when out and about.
Incidentally, i did bump into one such guy a couple of months back in the barbers. Hadn't seen him for yonks and yonks and we had a decent chat, catching up with one another's lives. He had always been a bit of a rebel at school and i was slightly taken aback by learning he did a lot of voluntary work for those in his community, mainly the old. Just 3 weeks after seeing him, i read he had died from a heart attack and some of the glowing tributes to him brought a tear to my eye.
LOL..welcome back Bobbisox....LOL
Half remembered names and faces, but to whom do they belong?
Surely the answer to this question is the same from every ABer

Yes.
Bobbi you had to dance with spotty youths. I had to dance with girls and talking to boys was forbidden whilst wearing school uniform. Not joking! No wonder I went a bit wild when I left school for college!!
Spotty ones with snotty sleeves Pat ? :0))
Been suspended, pet?
Nahhh, took a sabbatical Spicey, that’s a better word innit ;0)
welcome back too Bobbisox - but may I ask that if you make yourself User Inactive - how do you get back.

I recall making myself UI (not an urinary infection LOL) but had to change my name to get back.
Thanks JJ ;0)
