I fancy trying a mushy pea sandwich but can't decide whether the peas should be hot or cold.Has anyone tried one?

Eughhhhh Nooo, :0(
Lots of butter, dash of vinegar and hot.
Nko nobread. Are these boiled peas i hope so
When we have fish chips and mushy peas, I always make a sandwich containing all three items...with lots of vinegar.

Lovely!
No way, but IF I did, I would have them hot ! I do like mushy peas though.
Bleuurgghh...sorry but noooo!
I'd rather fancy one, too....peas warm and brown sauce.
Yuk! No way.
Yes, I can see how that would work..
It has to be hot mushy peas though, with plenty of butter.
I like thick soups, corn beef hash and tuna pasta bake cold which appauls my wife but cold mushy peas sounds awful to me- as to be warm or hot on a sangwhich or on a plate
I quite like mushy marrowfat peas. And various pea soups. Have never thought about having them in a sandwich though. Wouldn't it just squish out the sides?
//I quite like mushy marrowfat peas//

Marrowfat are not proper mushy peas though! I always have lots of crushed black pepper and some mint sauce on mushy peas although I've never tried them on a sandwich. Babby's 'ed, chips and mushy peas tomorrow night, thick gravy into a hole in the babby's 'ed, sorted.
Stoppit with yer babby's 'ed! That was my first thought when I saw this thread.
Love mushy peas. Not tinned though. Soak the dried peas for 16 hours.
you are all weirdos
a baked bean sandwich is quite nice
Nope and I wouldn’t even try mushy peas in a sandwich toaster. I do soak onion in vinegar then sprinkle them over mushy peas mixed with diced ham, In a dish.
Can't even look at mushy peas! Has to be Birds Eye Petit Pois.

Arksided me mam always sliced onions and soaked in vinegar which we had with a roast dinner! I often sprinkle vinegar on bread and butter while waiting for my tea to cook - vinegar sandwiches are lush!
And I thought I was weird having mayonnaise sandwiches back years ago ;)
I do agree about petit pois though.
Omg no lol!!
