Mr B watches every event and normally we never have the TV on during the day, the only one I enjoy is the women’s gymnastics and floor exercise,

Not seen any events at all. Like it hasn’t happened.

I feel quite removed from it too David, like it’s not happening, I guess it’s another victim of Covid

And what’s that table in the centre of where the BBC people sit, if they shove their chairs back too far, will they fall to the floor below?
Not at all.
i think the time difference has something to do with it too, as well as the fact only a few hours are being shown on the BBC

Good point Bednobs
Just watched women's weightlifting- cheered me up no end, I feel slender by comparison:-))
We're equally devoted to it. We record the overnight coverage and watch some in the morning, then go about our day and watch more late afternoon and evening. Thankfully we like and dislike similar events although I did have to drag MrM through some of the equestrian team competition! It makes a change to have something good to watch on the TV.

Yes I thought that too though I had to go on line to prove to my daughter that they're only in Salford, with a fancy backdrop!

As far as the question, these days it is only me but I do recall 2012 when we both were up early and watched wall to wall Olympics, something he rarely did, and suffered terrible wiothdrawal symptoms when it all finished.
I think there's some contractural reason why the BBC is only able to show a few events, apparently Eurosport channels are showing more if you have access.
Perhaps its his way of escaping ?

Cheers Baz
Also the reason why the BBC coverage is limited is because some other Chanel bought most of the rights to show the games
16.10, I meant from covid & lockdown etc , but if cap fits etc, who am I to disagree.
Question Author
My cap fits and I meant what i said :0)))
Bet the cap size is XXX L.
i am not but then again i watched some of the surfing final and the BMX races, plus some of the men's and women's hockey highlights.
plus gave a big cheer when Matty Lee and Tom Daley won gold in the diving. women football is preferable to the men's game in my opinion, the Americans have an excellent team and will likely win gold.

No gully just far superior to yours dear :0)
