....theres a recipe for one at deliaonline....its a 'not pork pie'

...ive been trying to find on too as we are at my veggie brothers xmas day and well....i just need a pp xmas.

....i will keep looking though, as i cant make one !!

Try these guys at Cleveland. Order form online on website. http://www.realmeals.co.uk/piesframe.htm

I don't think a pork pie without pork can be called a pork pie, but the above should hit the spot if you are looking for something in a decent pastry case rather than a loose pithivier or puff pastry option.

Quite a few Indian recipes can be adapted and put into a pie case, so maybe look out for some of those if you want to try some at home baking.

Thanks both for your answers, I actually live in the Cleveland area so can visit the shop in Saltburn.......thanks again.
It's a good idea. I always prefer the pasty to the meat.
HI did you find any, I would be interested to hear what they are like? Thinking of doing some for my birthday bonfire party!
