Lordy.....Have you confused this forum with Twitter, again?

Hi Jack, you know you love to see them again.
Nope.
I didn't enjoy them first time round....several years ago.....nor any of the occasions during the interim.

That’s a big glass for a rum and coke. Hope the rum wasn’t drowned.

Hi Cloverjo, 90% rum, as I recall.
Sparkly, reminds me of a holiday in Menorca. It was at the end of the season and the barman wanted to get rid of his stock. My gin and tonic was nearly completely gin.
Mmmmm. Jersey.......1975. Hope it was Duty Free Pussers Rum or it ain't real rum imo. :-) Cokes a bit of a travesty but I suppose you were still learning all those years back.
Menorcan Gin. The original Pukka Plymouth Navy Gin recipe. Terrific.
Question Author
Hi retrocopy, only tasted Pussers a few times, delicious. Was it the drink for the navy, ie, grog ?
Aye Aye Sparky.Though the actual traditional grog of Nelson's navy was Gin. I mentioned Menorcan Gin after Cloverjo. When Nelson hung his trousers in Mahon he had his fleet anchored in the deep water harbour and it was the Royal Navy Mediterranean Station. The rosebifs bought the traditional Plymouth Gin recipe with them and the locals started distrilling it for the Navy. The Menorcans distil it to the same recipe to this day. A distinctive flavour but good.
