Grief does strange things to people. As believers it's sad they can't accept God's will and agree it was her time to go anyway. That she was there to improve their life and help them grow, yet they've reacted to her death less well than they might. May they soon find peace of mind.

I have to admit, it makes me wonder if they planned the whole thing in advance and were somehow responsible for the little one's death.

I can understand the prayers and singing to help them to grieve, what doesn't sit well with me is the crowd fund raising. What is the money going to be used for?
