Tonight We Are Mostly Having

Crispy Peking duck. It’s from Costco and there’s quite a lot of it. I think it should be as a starter for lots of people but we’re going to demolish the whole lot between us as our main meal. Ages since we’ve had this and really looking forward to it.

I'd probably put thin strips of salmon in the omelette with chopped dill and cream cheese.

I've seen it in quiche so why not omelette...

I suppose. He's asleep (for a change) so I don't want to waste his portion. I might cook it in the oven and serve it to him as a crustless quiche.

Thinking about it it sounds quite nice. Salmon and asparagus....

If I have a spare salmon fillet the next day I'll put it in a blender with a little lemon juice a couple of spoons of cream cheese bit of pepper and blast up to make a lovely pate. Nice on toast or in a salad.

I quite often do that with salmon, sardines or mackerel. It's nice dolloped on sliced avocado with a few coldwater prawns thrown around the plate.

I think he'd prefer an omelette.

I'd happily make a pate but he'd see it as a snack rather than a meal.

Yes Tony. I bought a small "canterbury" to put my sheet music in, some Georgian silver, a Moorcroft vase, and a couple of silver coins from the Tudor and Stuart period.

Nothing moved it Tilly, so waiting for the guy on Tuesday to rescue it. He's not angry about it so all is good, he just said how stupid it is that it has a metal bottom because that's bound to happen. Thanks for asking :) x
