What Would You Do? Eat It Or Not?

Just put the last bit of a packet of Granola into a dish, put some milk and a blob of cream on it, turned around to get a nectarine to slice on top and the cat was licking up the cream off the top. Would you still eat it?

cats are hygienic to say the least but i still would either let the cat have the rest or chuck it out.

The vet told me last week that cats mouths are full of bacteria...and the way she said it, she didn't mean the good kind.

they are quite clean animals going on my brothers two cats, but they play in the garden and get all sorts of stuff over their coats, rear ends, so i would bin the stuff.

I'm salivating here and really cheesed off. Was so going to enjoy it. Suppose I'll give it to the dog and I'll make do with a bit of toast. Ain't life tough;-) That ruddy cooking fat!!!

Yes, I'd still eat it. The nectarine may even give normally bland cat some flavour.

Bin it and next time make sure its out of his/her reach.. Stop to give your cat a drink as its obviously thirsty. in this hot weather.

No, especially as they lick their bits and, if it's an outdoor cat, being the hunters that they are, who knows what it might have had in its mouth.

One Christmas Day a friend posted that he had found his cat gnawing on a leg of the resting turkey. He went onto say that the leg was amputated, I assured the cat would be fine with just three legs!
