...that I didn't know yesterday.....

Monks used Monk's Pepper for it's anti-libido effect.....
As the book I'm reading headed the chapter.....Pepper in the Underwear....I pictured the monks lining up like children for medicine......the head monk standing at the front of the queue with a big wooden pepper mill........grinding away into held out boxers.......

Pliny the Elder stated that the leaves of the plant placed in the bedding of ladies cooled the heat of lust......now why would you think to do that?
I reckon Pliny was simply unfanciable......x
