Had roast lamb yesterday and there was loads left over. Was going to do a curry with it today ( only a quick jar one) but now everyone decides they're doing other things so need to know if I can freeze cooked lamb and if so is it better to freeze on its own, or open the jar of curry, mix in and then freeze like that ready for cooking?

If it's eventually going to be used in a sauce or gravy, I'd slice/dice and wrap well and freeze until needed.
If you are going to curry it - mix it in with the sauce now and freeze in a box - don't forget to label so you know whats in it later.
I'd do as mamya says. Not sure I'd want to freeze a jarred sauce.

Thanks everyone, think I may try it in the sauce, I've read a jar sauce can be frozen so that may stop the lamb from drying out. Thanks again to you all.
