As you know the BBC are trying to cut costs and part of their plan is to delete recipes from BBC cook website.

There has to be an alternative - a way of hosting all this information elsewhere.

There is, of course, a petition to sign if you wish the BBC to change its plans.

if they wanted to make cuts, why not just have one presenter on Breakfast instead of 2 ?

I don't actually have a TV and have never watched the stuff you mention - but any snippet that I have seen indicate that there are two of them so that there will be one working brain between them.

I can't cook and have never followed a recipe.

Worse than that, I have no TV but I have a TV licence. Odd!

I am building up the energy so that I can vacuum under this desk and put my lunch on. I am not getting far at all.

depending on the presenters, there's no guarantee of one working brain between them.

TV is mostly guff so you're not missing on anything vital.

Leave the vacuuming til next week

Vaccuuming (is the spelling right?) is something that I avoid at all costs because it kills my back.

To be honest house work is not my idea of fun at all.
I tend to move the dust around to give it a change of view

My back was in spasms yesterday, not a good day
Why not cut the grub making shows down to 150 if they was to save money
It doesn't seem to me to be a core function of the BBC. If someone can take it over and maintain it at nil cost to the BBC , or maybe even buy it for a fee, then that seems the right deal for those of us that pay he licence fee. There are loads of other places to get recipes from. (And yes, there are plenty of places you can get some BBC output from so they should consider getting rid of those too)

Are we paying for the BBC worldwide service? Little brother explained it to me but all that knowledge has evaporated and He might get grumpy if I ask him again.

I think it was Saturday Kitchen Best Bites when the chef told Bonnie Langford (?) that the cut of meat was £70, just for that portion.
Ridiculous
