I pickled some eggs a couple of months ago but when my oh cut one open it was soft in the middle, I obviously did not boil them long enough to start with, oh ate it anyway and I have been watching him ever since expecting him to double over with belly ache, he hasn't yet, has he been lucky (he has got strong guts and can eat nearly every thing) or do you think these eggs are really fit to eat?

Broseph for goodness sake do a bit of research before being offensive to AB members . pickled eggs = vinegar a few spices if required and eggs -end of.
Yes Bro, moderation is the key, I think I was 12 the last time I attempted to consume a full jar of pickle.
At times, a lot of moderation is done around here.
mamy and don't forget you swilled them down with 3 pints of special brew and a lard sandwich lol!
Some gorgeous Italian ham, a couple of pickled peaches and a hunk of crusty bread- perfect.
Broseph is just being a klown.
That's the one Retro.
Broseph, you really are starting to push you luck in the charm department!

Perhaps it is time you had a Piña Colada.......
Ummmm, he is well practised - must have the handbook.
Eccles!! Leave his private bits out of this please!
klown? well k is in there but my adjective ends with a b and is usually found on a door. (should this be in crosswords) ;-)
Is it an anagram?
Sorry Mamya ;-)

If you're going to throw insults then at least learn how to spell the words you're using. Klown? It's actually spelt "Clown" and I'm being a clown by being concerned about the older users here health? okaaaay.

Dr Bennet Werner who is a cardiologist says otherwise

Probably the wrong place for it as this isn't my thread so apologies to the op for diversing but we just might get someone who has high bp and likes pickled eggs who reads this thread just in time. last words from me here,if anyone wants to contest this then start a thread in the health section and I will happily contribute.

When I ran a Rugby club bar they would eat a large catering size jar of pickled eggs on a Saturday afternoon when the match finished. They dropped them into a bag of crisps as a post match snack. Then they would challenge someone to drink the vinegar. One time they thought that was not enough and got someone to drink the vinegar through an old sock they found in the changing room!
Brophy what has made you so cheerful today?
I too apologise to Cecil for the diversion.

However Broseph, you have been insulting and condescending in equal measure on your posts today - read through them and grow up a bit.
I'm sorry if you feel that way and I've came across in that way to you as I'm in a happy and jovial mood and never insult anyone. Where have I been insulting or condescending?
EDDIE51 rugby players are active and fit and wouldn't be suffering from high bp and their requirements for salty snack is the bodies way to replace lost electrolytes from the exercise.
and tonight's award for passive aggressive behavior goes to......answers on the back of a pickled egg please....;-)
