Recipe for cheese biscuits.
180 g Parmesan cheese,
180g Unsalted butter.
180g Plain flour
Pinch of salt
Handful of pine nuts (optional)
1/2 tspn Chilli powder or Cayenne pepper(optional)

Grate the Parmesan(I use a food processor)
Cream the butter in a bowl, add all other ingredients and mix to a dough.
Take teaspoonfuls and place on a baking tray, slightly flatten and place in oven 180 Gas 4 for 18 minutes.

The measurements are what I use but you can change them to suit as they are equal amounts of butter, flour and cheese.

You'll notice I didn't ask for the flapjack receipe! I'd be the size of a house then Labour would put a mansion tax on me.

Thank you Danny. I shall try this, looks simple enough even for me to manage. My son will be delighted as I never bake, I figure I'm fat enough already, but I do love any sort of shop bought cheesy biscuits. So now I can try the 'real' thing. Will report back, just hope I don't get addicted!

Thanks danny.Hi Margo. I will give that one a try also.Suppose any other cheese could be used as an alternative to parmesan?
