I have just tried Chia ( Twinings) and my OH drinks Lady Grey regularly. I liked the Chia and I took it black with a spoon of sugar. Others in the family added milk. That seems wrong somehow ! What others might I like that are similar to Chai ? Any suggestions ?

Lapsang Souchong isn't spicy like Chai but does have a lovely smokey flavour.

p.s. I always drink my chai with milk!
Just Tetley's for me strong, black and no sugar. Does that make me a Philistine?
I'm visiting a friend tomorrow and will be taking my own tea bags, does that make me a snob? ;-)
Look out for the brand 'Yogi Tea'. (You don't necessarily need to go to specialist shops. Our local Co-op stocks some of the range). They have a good range of spiced teas:

I'm rather fond of their Licorice Tea:

Incidentally, the Palanquin Spiced Tea, sold in Tesco, is (in my opinion) a much better Chai than the Twinings one:

(NB: If you look for it in Tesco it probably won't be in the tea section. It's usually hidden away on the 'foreign foods' shelves).
