lol Ratter yes a dirty word I know. it says they use broccoli flour made from the florets, no idea how they get flour from broccoli florets!! Im just desperate to find some form of ‘bread’ that I can eat, that tastes of ‘bread not cardboard and that doesn’t cost the earth. Im on free from crispbreads at the moment they are ok but you can’t exactly make them into a sandwich.

Seems only available in the London area, thank goodness.....hope it doesn't roll out to Sussex, or anywhere else come to that, as it looks pretty yuck..bet it tastes yuck too.
I would just cut out the middle man and flush it straight down the toilet, as that is probably where i would be sitting 10 mims after having one :0(

Baguettes live forever :0)
Mmmm.... does it toast well ?
Never made it, but for those wanting to cut the carbs it sounds interesting.
Never heard of them or their product but would certainly try them, they look scrummy!
If you want to cut carbs, try making linseed/flaxseed bread. Very easy-can be done in the microwave and it does a good impression of 'real' bread.

6 oz linseed ground
1 oz coconut flour...or just one more oz of linseed
2tsp baking powder
2tsp olive oil
4 eggs
1/2 cup water to make a runny mixture
Put in bread tin ( silicone)
Cook in microwave for 10 mins...maybe a bit more,it will feel firm when done

Or...this is enough for a portion done in a mug...
3 tablespoons golden linseed - ground
1/2 teaspon baking powder
1 teaspoon butter
1 egg
whipped then zapped in microwave for 60seconds

Interesting link to broccoli bread and cauliflower pizza base Mamyalynne. Slightly sceptical as it says pulse the vegetable in question in a food processor until it resembles a rice texture, I am by far no expert in the kitchen but would it not bind together in the food processor as there must be some natural liquid in the veg? Im thinking of trying the cauliflower pizza base out on my friend who is a strict vegetarian.

Pastafreak I will be giving that a go. It’s not to cut carbs though; I’m having to cut out yeast again at the mo as my IBS is playing up something chronic. I’m willing to give anything a go if it means I can have ‘bread’ again as I usually live on the stuff! Your bread sounds interesting; I will be purchasing a silicone bread tin on my next foray into town. What setting should I use for the microwave? mine is a 700W.
Ummm...not sure about microwave setting. I think the times given are for a standard power range. Like any baking...you may have to 'play around' a bit with times...I know I did. If it seems a bit soft just give it a few more seconds.
