Has anyone had a tin of this bacon grill?

Is it nice, and would you fry or grill it?

I dunno what Chira bacon grill is, but ive had ordinary tins of bacon grill before, and whilst they aint gourmet grub, they're ok. I prefer 'em fried.

No idea how to cook it but Anglers Mail had this to say about it for use as bait


Lidl £1.09 for 300 gr
This had a fairly high fat content and tasted as if the salt content was also above average. The colour was fairly light adding visibility. It also had a rather interesting spicy taste that could be appealing to many species of fish, making it a bit of a wild card. It was relatively tough which is essential for casting to prevent the hook pulling through, giving it a full range of applications. It again cuts and shapes very well with both cutters and punches.

Stewey, I think I am more likely to eat a Chimera than I ever am to buy a tin of Chira Bacon Grill.....whether to serve it for supper or use as bait!

Bought this tin of bacon grill just to keep in the cupboard for emergencies believe it or not. never had it before and still debaiting whether to cook it or not.
Have decided on garlic chicken and veg for tonight.
Will try the bacon some other day perhaps lol.
p.s havent got a dog to feed it to.

IMO all canned meat is inedible so I don't but it. simple.

I never ever buy tinned meat food either, so dont know the heck why I bought it in the first place. lol.
my son is a fisherman, so he will put it to good use!
