I see a couple of threads on here regarding really windy conditions in the UK. It's quite calm here today in southern Ontario; however, the previous three days have been quite windy, for us anyway, with gusts from the west up to 60k. Just a coincidence?

It looks coincidental from the weather map - this wind's coming out way from the SW Atlantic.

ours is coming from the Gulf of Mexico so probably not. Were your winds on the left side of the road or right?

Don't know about the roads, but they were all over the field that I have to forge across:)
