I've bought a frozen double pepperoni pizza and would like to zing it up with the pepper.
Should I add the sliced pepper half way through the heating time of the pizza, if I added it at start of coking time, surely the pepper would be burnt?

i'd go with halfway through

and i'll have a slice as well please
I'd put it on a the beginning.

Slice it thinly and scatter it on lightly.

Pizzas are cooked in one go in my experience even those with an egg in the middle.
I would take the pepperoni off add the pepper place the pepperoni back on, drizzle with oil and maybe balsamic - the oils from the pepperoni may add to the flavour and protect the pepper from burning

I would then call Dominos
Tsk, it's a frozen pizza, sorry.

Hmmm, not an expert but either cut pepper a bit thicker or add it half way through.
And I'll have a slice if you throw on a scattering of jalapeños or roquito chillies.....

ooooh, a slice saved for the wonderful Fluffpot.

I'll do one with the pepperoni on top of the pepper and go with Eccles on the second pizza.

I'll report back at some point :-)

Many thanks xxx

I know, Eccles, frozen isn't usually my style but the pound coins are cutting their own cloth these days :-(

Slice saved for you too (followed by a cheese scone for afters x)
As it is the end of the month I'll bring a bottle of vino from the depleted rack (it could be Uncle Eric's Rhubarb wine...), a bag of mixed salad leaves left over from last night and I've heard Waitrose are doing a deal on Gu puds.

On reflection taking account I'd have to head seriously north to claim my pizza slice I'm getting the bum end of the deal.

The thought was there for you Alba.x
Question Author
Well, you do live seriously south :-) xxx

I think our local Waitrose is about 30 miles away, one train and 2 buses.
quite handy!!
The Gu puds are half price in Lidl too.
I would have brought the fine offerings of Waitrose with me, I'm just worried they would have got warm and a bit shuggled in my old jalopy!

I'm defrosting a curry, just need to think out about what to serve with it......

I've seen some seriously weird toppings on pizzas in Iceland (other shops are available)
donner kebab pizza, double cheeseburger pizza, they might do a curry pizza and solve the problem? :-)

I'd go for the curry tonight and pizza is surely a food for a Saturday evening?
I'm a bit of a minx and going for a Malay curry rather than an Indian one.

I might go for a cucumber, pineapple salsa thing and maybe some stir fried bean sprouts and other stuff dying at the bottom of the fridge that needs using up.....

cripes, I'm seeing double!!

ooh, Eccles, that sounds lush, enjoy! xx
still undecided, ti might be a see what happens sort of dinner.... i feel a trip to the pub coming on
I'd slice the pepper, then cook briefly in olive oil and minced garlic...a bit of chilli also. Saute until starting to soften, then add to the pizza along with the oil in the pan halfway through the cooking time..
Or-you could grill the pepper, remove skin,slice-and add at the end.
