If its for the juice wack them in the micro for 30 seconds then loosen the juice by rolling around on the worktop and your hand.

If not for the juice! put them in a bowl with a banana.

I don't think citrus fruits will continue to ripen after being picked - stand to be corrected.

Sit them in the sunshine ??

As FGT says - if it's for juice a good roll with sort it out.

As already stated, limes will not ripen further once picked...

I wish the OP would tell us if we have sorted her problem or if she requires more info and what part of the lime she needs!
