I froze three egg yolks about a month ago, do they freeze successfully? I've promised the kids chocolate custard tonight but I'm a bit dubious about the egg yolks, I lightly beat them and put some sugar in before they went in the freezer, do you think they'll be okay?

Rocky I freeze egg yolks when I've used the whites for pavlova and then defrost them to add to scrambled eggs, or egg custard etc and never had a problem.
They freeze (and keep) well... try breaking the whole eggs, on each, into an ice cube tray, cover it with plastic wrap held on by a rubber band and it'll keep for a couple of months. Good for cooking as well as frying for breakfast...
