Well, we have a selection of French Fancies, and a home made choccy fudge cake.

Shall I do sandwiches or just stick with the sausage rolls and chicken goujons.

Wine and beer are in the usual places. Tuck in.

Oh....sausage rolls....I do love sausage rolls. I'll just pour myself a wine. Thanks Alba. x
Egg sandwiches please and a nice strong cup of tea. Have spent ages wrestling with a duvet that did'nt want to be changed.
Definitely sandwiches....I have some Gravadlax that needs using up if that helps.
Can I ask where do you get all the dishes you need for afternoon tea - particularly when I wouldn't be using them again -
Fantastic, thanks Alba. Some chicken goujons with a nice glass of red will go down a treat.

Love egg mayo sandwiches with a bit of finely chopped onnion for the crnch, there ya go, giveup, just for you x
(Hate chaging duvet covers)

gness, would you like a straw with the wine? Saves on the washing up if you just plonk it in the bottle. :-D x
Ooh, hot sausage rolls, lovely, I'll bring my own apple and pear green tea. Roll on February

Conne, with this lot around. there's nothing left, not even for a doggy bag :-)

Ooh Eccles, that sounds painful! (It is a cheese isn't it? please tell me it's a cheese!)

Tuck in Rocky x
Egg and onion sandwiches and a sprinkling of spring onions - delish.

Apple and pear green tea? Sounds interesting, tried a green tea once (can't remember the type) it was awful.
alba I meant the actual dishes you put the food on -
Well I cold tell you it's a cheese Alba but I'd be lying...it's cured salmon with a dill coating and usually served with a dill & mustard sauce....which is nice mixed with cream cheese and spread on bread for sandwiches!
Have you git any small pork pies, have been fancying one for ages.
sorry got not git!
Connemmara, this is a virtual tea with virtually no washing up ;-)

You can serve afternoon tea on any plates/dishes/old slates/wooden boards....be creative! I bet you have more than enough dishes to serve tea on.
I'll bring my curly wurly straw alba......shooshes some air into the wine and saves waiting while it's breathing. x

Eccles, see what happens to my brain when I haven't been around food for ages!!
That sounds heavenly :-)

Conne, Paper plates for this lot, for the posh ones, I even put a paper doily on it :-)

MissP, oooh, haven't seen any for ages, will have to search the shops soon for some. (I'm sure I saw some frozen ones in Iceland which made me want to heave quite frankly)
I turn the duvet cover inside out. Reach arms inside it into far corners. grab the corners of one end of the duvet. Lift arms up and cover drops down over outside of duvet. It is now right side out. Do up the fastenings.
Thank you for the sausage roll and cuppa.
Shooshes?
A couple of French Fancies and a glass of cidre bouche if you have it, s'il vous plait.

You're welcome grass. There's more tea and coffee if you'd like.

I used to do that duvet cover trick with our double, if you've got stairs, shake the cover and duvet down, gravity helps. Having a king size now means I tend to climb into it and get lost :-)
