In most post scipts of Hampten Court,when first built,Henry 8th used the kitchen to a degree where people died quicker than the food.
On one occasion,it's reported that at a single sitting,60 bovine,240 ovine,and 2k foul where used as the main meal!
Taking into acount that most meals started at 10.00 and finished around 23.00,with five sittings,this is'nt bad for a quick lunch!
