We already have cowboy pie (individual dishes with a layer of baked beans, mashed potatoes and sausage horns) and I am thinking of altering it slightly with burger 'ears' and calling it mouse pie. Anyone have any ideas for similar ideas for food (they are good eaters so it's not to encourage them to eat, it's just for fun).

I never had any problems getting daughter to eat but I used to tease the family saying we had "strawberry surprise" for pudding and place a dish of chocolate mousse in front of them - "that's not strawberry" daughter would say and I'd yell "surprise!" daft I know but it was fun
One of Mini Boo's favourites as a toddler was, well we didn't give it a name, but it was hotdog sausages quartered then push uncooked spaghetti through them lengthways, then cook. It looks really gross when done, like worms coming out the food, but she loved it, infact she still does.

I was pretty boring and just made the normal type faces, base of mash and then used the other bits to make a face..... seems so long ago now :0( Well it was about 10 years ago [even sadder face]
May have to do it next time we have sausages!!! hehehehehe

My kids always liked (and still ask for it now they are grown up when they come home for a weekend) my Cheesy Beany Crunch which was from Blue Peter. A mixture of cooked beans and cooked frozen peas covered with layer of bread crumbs and topped with cheese. Cook in the oven and maybe finish under the grill.
