shake in some icing sugar?
if you have any toffees in the house melt some and drizzle it over the popcorn while it is still warm then toss it in the bowl to spread it, (you need a big bowl)

thanks but i don't really want toffee flavour
Tiny swirl of Golden syrup then a wee smidgin of suger to coat....
Melt the sugar until just bubbling and tip over. Be very quick because it hardens fast.

with water ummm?
We did the gs and sugar thing recently and it was lovely.... And actually glistened like new popcorn should...
No...just sugar.

Actually..I'm not sure. I've only ever added water to make creme caramel.

Personally I'd just use sugar. Let it melt over a low heat and when it's turned brown tip it on the popcorn. It might be best to do it in batches because it really does harden fast.
