HI. I made sloe gin in the winter but it is very strong. I would appreciate any tips you may have on diluting the strength of this drink. Many thanks.

Save until the summer and drink with lemonade and a slice of lime (single squeeze).

Great idea, many thanks AB Editor
There's also these cocktails: http://www.drinksmixer.com/cat/2048/ although I doubt they'll be much reducing the potency!
Not exactly diluting it, but mixed with champagne it makes an interesting version of Kir Royale!

Tinkerbell send me any you cannot manage!!!

Too strong, I've never heard that complaint before.
Funny stuff sloe gin, a bottle of ordinary gin can remain at the back of the back of the drinks cupboad for years but sloe gin seems to disappear after a few days. Do you think it evaporates?
Normal gin seems to disappear around me...same.. Err must evaporate or erm...hide LOL x
my sloe gin gets diluted with a couple of ice cubes, anything else is sacrilege!
I was given some sloe vodka for Crimbo & I tried it last night. It was spot on. I made loads of sloe gin last year, so I'll been adding sloe vodka to my repertoir.
