I have noticed that green tea gives me heart palpitations. The more I drink the more palpitations I seem to get. I was just wondering if that is an indication that I shouldn't drink it, it's just that I was trying to reduce my consumption of ordinary tea as I have heard that green tea is very good for you?

If it is giving you palpitations, don't drink it!
Simples
yep
Buy de-caf.
Everyone is different. If it doesn't agree with you then it's not as good for you as it may be for someone else. May be caffeine related. I'm unsure how much green tea has.
Green tea is very detoxifying, so yes it's good for you - but don't take it if you have adverse effects. Try white tea - that's lovely - still without milk.

Btw how many cups of green tea per day were you drinking?
green tea is tea made from younger shoots!

turn to decaf and see if you get a difference?
Are you sure it's the green tea doing it?
Try making up a cup with the tea bag stand for about 30 seconds and pour away add more hot water stand and this is the cup you drink you will find most of the caffiene is gone and it won't be so bitter either

Thanks for those responses. I will try white tea. I already have de-caff, usually at night. It was definitely the green tea that did it. Initially I was only drinking one cup per day and then I increased to 3 cups and that was when the palpitations became very frequent.
Green tea only for give you relax after a long work Hour s do not addict of IT . there is many misconceptions about green tea like it give you fair look ,it give relief to sugar level
Sounds like it could be the caffeine. Personally drink Purechimp super tea which is like 10 cups of green tea in 1 & don get any problems. Guessing you could be sensitive to caffeine.....

Good news: You can buy caffeine free green tea.
