Can anyone suggest a kettle with adjustable temp gauge. My last one from Marks was a glass one with 4 temp settings

This one is available in Lidl from Thursday - it has adjustable temperature settings. I've had one in white for ages - very good value.

Why would you want a temp. gauge on a kettle? Aren't they just for boiling water?

I actually like my tea at 70c
Sandy- I took it to mean "adjustable thermostat", whereby you can heat -not necessarily boil- water. As per link.
I've only ever used the simple ones. Switch on to heat the water and when it's boiled it turns itself off. I live and learn.

The trick (resolution) is to enjoy the learning process
You should never use boiling water to make coffee.
