...at the back of my freezer which must have been there for about 2/3 years, 2 are curry's and the other a shepherds pie.

Are they safe to eat of should I ditch them?

do you really need an answer to that? :-(
I would cook them and if they smell suspect when cooked, dump 'em, otherwise eat 'em !
If we don't see you tomorrow, we'll know why
Take it it's been a while since you cleaned it out then? lol

They're probably 'safe' trt but I'd imagine they're well past their best and no longer as 'tasty' as they once were. If they've been in there that long and not been eaten personally I wouldn't bother.
no need for Cattiness,trt.....I thought my post was self-explanatory
I'm saving up so that I can ditch everything from my freezer and replace them with other things I probably won't eat..........
I'm surprised people would ditch them - even if they're frozen solid ?
2-3 years is a long time to be in the freezer, trt.........3-6 months I would say is ok on certain foods.....I would bin 'em, otherwise you could have a dose of the Leon T's methinks........not nice at all..:0)
In your shoes I'd try them. They've been solid ice for ages, I'd ask myself what drastic change is likely and suspect very little.
trt... if you dig down deep enough you'll probably find a handful of loose peas you could have with the shepherds pie...
I don't think it's a matter of being ill, I think they'll be completely tasteless.
Do frozen things lose flavour over time then?
Safe but not particularly nice-tasting - especially the curries.
