I love Aldi, I'll look out for those, packardbell! I'm hoping that this year they bring back those lovely spiced Christmas biscuits they had last year.

Yes! I've got to agree with you; I bought some this week and am of the same opinion as you!

Looks like you and me are in an exclusive club madmaggot....all the other AB'ers don't know what they're missing!
Perhaps it's that they don't like to admit that they shop at Aldi? Me; I'm proud to say that I don't waste my money, look after the pennies and the pounds will buy you a great holiday!
"the best biscuit I have ever tasted"

Golly.

Maybe I'll give them a whirl.

Are they better than Jammie Dodgers?
Will get Mrs MM to get some next time she goes, and I'll let you know what I think of them.
Big fan of Aldi - but don't eat biscuits.
Good place to shop.
Nope - include me up as a fully paid-up 'Aldista'

Not just for the cheap stuff, but their 'Specially Selected' ranges leave asdamorrisainsco sprawling in the dust for price/quality - had a test run of http://www.aldi.co.uk...ecial_buys3_21576.htm yesterday - brilliant :)
There is no Aldi near us but we frequently shop in Lidl where the chocolate is excellent.
I took Mrs MM to Lidl last week a 16 mile round trip. She thought it was rubbish, a wasted journey.

Lidl...not good at all, i agree with you there micmac...I know Aldi is similar, but it doesn't have half as many brand names...you have to try the memento cookies!!..they now have a fruit and nut version too..they really are the best biscuits ever!

yes JoggerJayne...try em and see, you gotta taste these things!!
I buy loads of stuff from Aldi - fruit and veg, my milk, their jam is great, chocolate and sweets, fruit juice (we go through loads of it). Some of their stuff is a bit hit and miss but the kids love their beans and their tomato ketchup (I don't like it, it is too tomatoey for me).

JJ - they have Jammie dodgers in ours at the moment for 50p a packet.
