please has anyone got a really good apple chutney recipe ,have made apple and mint today but have loads of apples

Everbody seems to have apples to give away at the moment. Have'nt got a good apple chutney recipe, but apple and mint sounds lovely.I've stewed quite a lot and frozen it.

i know thats an idea but freezer is bursting at the seams

Haven't tried it , but BBC online is usually pretty good.

You could peel, chop and freeze your apples for use later in the year...think of all those lovely crumbles....
Sorry, didn't refresh before I posted about freezing.

Can you pass on your apple and mint recipe, please ?

thanks will try that one sorry not been back on site till tonight here goes---
apple n mint
4ib cooking apples peeled and chopped
1lb tomatoes peeled and chopped
1lb soft brown sugar(i use gran sugar and is ok)
1pt malt vinegar
2 level tsp ground ginger
half tea spoon mixed spice
pinch cayenne pepper
half tsp salt
1.1b chopped raisins
bunch chopped mint
cook all tog except mint till thick add mint and cook 5 mins supposed to keep 3 months if you can wait
