Hi I'm making these for tea, but what sauce shall I make to go with? I'm looking for something a bit different from tomato sauce - and does anyone have any idea what to serve with them, other than pasta/rice/chips. Do you think they'd go with noodles?

Could serve with some nice crusty bread. Don't know about a different sauce though, sorry.
cous cous with a little fried onion and mixed herbs stirred in

sauce how about a white sauce with almonds and mint or a sweet sauce with pureed apricots, and pine nuts finely chopped into a mix of dry sherry and a little cornflour
Noodles are not much different to pasta....

Can't think what would go with them besides a tomato sauce. What about spicing it up...? Or making a red pepper sauce...
similar to a tomato sauce, how about a roasted red pepper one instead?
lol uummmmmm, great idea
mushroom sauce and new potatoes
:0) Red....and spice it up...
If you have some yoghurt or creme fraiche you could chop some herbs into it and pour over the meatballs before serving. Although this is a cold sauce it is very authentic mediterranean, greek/turkish. Yum. Parsley or mint is best. Enjoy. Oh, this was probably too late...maybe next time.
I am not sure where I will find the "sauce" material for this question, meg!
