hi,
i am training 4 times per week and am taking( phd iso-7) i have noticed that i am constantly craving food more than before i started training, in the phd there is creatine/protein and all kinds of amino acids etc etc.. i am wondering why i am putting on more weight ( 4 kilos in 3 weeks ) maybe muscle ? maybe not ! am i craving more food because my body is burning more energy ? or is it the protein / phd / creatine that is putting weight on me or even water retention ?

i usually run 4-5 kilo,s or 40 mins on treadmill then an hour of weights 4 times per week now. THANKS

Why do you use the phd?
Question Author
i use it because i want to build muscle mass and to give me strength without having to resort to using steroids.
I am not into this sort of muscle biochemistry, but looking at your schedule from a novice point of view, i would say that your weight increase is due to muscle bulk as I can see no reason for you to retain water...........quite the opposite.

It would be interesting to test your blood sugar levels when you have these "hunger cravings" as I bet my bottom dollar that they would be low, indicating that you are burning more carbohydrates. It might be a good idea to take something like a banana which is high in calories and potassium to give you energy and raise your blood sugar.

I know bu99er all about this, but worked it out from first principles.
